About Us

Years ago we visited Port Aransas (aka Port A or PA by the locals) for a weekend of family celebration. The trip down from Houston was 3 hours of easy drive filled with excitement of the coming family gathering.

The sign “Welcome to Port Aransas” greeted us as we pulled into town. That “welcome” echoed the entire trip. Tanned faces greeted us with big smiles. Travis and I soon discovered the magic of Island Time!  Russell and Lindsay – our son and daughter-in-law arrived shortly after us. The sight of pristine sand and alluring water delighted all and was an immediate thrill for our grandbabies, Colby and Zoe. As the rest of our family arrived there was nothing but non-stop laughter, hugs and kisses, and  story telling conversations in full bloom. We tanned, walked the beach in search of  perfect sea shells, cast a line in the surf with hopes of catching a fish in one of the coasts best fishing spots, and cruised the waters by boat while the fresh salt water splashed our faces and the pure salt air filled us with joy.  We built sandcastles, attempted to surf, waved at airplanes from the local airport looking for the perfect ariel view of spectacular Port Aransas. So many priceless memories were made. PRICELESS MEMORIES.

It was then and there we knew we had experienced “LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT”. Our dream was alive!

As we drove back home to Houston plans began to form to make Port Aransas part of our lives. We wanted to be part of Port A !!!!

The mission was on to find the perfect beach rental house with all the comforts of home that we could share.

Our first sight of “Hearts of Palms” proved once again to be Love at First Sight. We could see visions of upgrading this house and turning it into the perfect Luxury Vacation Rental Home.

And so this journey begins. Follow us as we transform 613 Sand Key Drive into the magic of “Hearts of Palms”. Come along with us and you too can discover “Love at First Sight” !
